Becoming a Marketing Consultant When I Grew Up
I’ll be honest, my path to this career was not a straight road. My husband, Dan, is steady as a rock. He knew from a young age he wanted to be an engineer, though he hadn’t foreseen how much he would love being a sales engineer. What is it like to just know? I can’t even fathom that!
I have many interests, love learning about many things, get bored once I’ve mastered something that wasn't ever-evolving…I’m sure you all know someone like this. This led to a lot of jobs in a lot of fields trying to find where I fit. I have a love for God, how people and brains work, and health. At every toe dip into these fields, I realized the day-in-day-out direct care type roles were not for me.
While I felt a bit like a failure for missing the mark and not knowing, God was growing me. He exposed me to so many great people, gave me wisdom, and healed us. Bit by bit, he showed me a couple of themes across my mix of jobs and bosses who loved my performance but wished I lasted longer. I am:

God, Faith, and Healing
God kept working me in His timing. God has given me an irresistible pull to understand and share his self-healing design. When COVID rocked the world, I was totally convicted that I would help people better understand their health options beyond the Western Medicine paradigm that treats symptoms with drugs vs. root causes. As rates of stroke, autoimmune diseases, and cancers skyrocketed, a fire burned in me to connect people with resources they didn’t know about, to encourage the growth of practitioners who look at foundational health solutions. The tangled web of symptom management in people with vulnerable health lights a fire in me.
When God uprooted our family to Texas, He told me he had plans for each of us here. I then heard “each of them”, being my husband and kids as I asked God if they’d be ok. The enemy didn’t take this one sitting down. A spiritual battle ensued. We found ourselves at the center of various storms between our immediate family, extended family, and closest friends with so many things shaken.
In the meantime, He planted us in an amazing church who helped me grow in relationship with God and prayer in ways my heart previously ached for but couldn’t seem to connect where we had been. As miracle healings surrounded us, I became convinced based on scripture that we should be seeing more of that. I grew in prayer and became convinced that He would use me to heal others. He's still working this story in wild, God-only ways.
These all felt like separate threads until recently: my broad experience and gifting, my passion for natural health, my walk with God in prayer. If you plotted my route on map to where we are, it may look to an outsider like someone lost in the woods. But God is way too faithful for that. He doesn’t waste a thing. If you broaden the scope, what we may see instead is the intricate web God weaved to prepare me for the here and now. to “heal my people”.
In the last few years, God pulled all my loose threads together into a tapestry only He could weave. I just love my chiropractors, functional health professionals, and other natural health business owners! They have such a passion and "why" behind what they do that isn't very common. I can truly see them. This helps me to highlight them more clearly online in the very light that shines from them.
My background in psychology, words, analytics, and marketing uniquely position me to them connect them with the people who are looking for what they offer - whether they know what they are looking for or not. I help healers continue to work in healing while I bridge the gap between them and the client. I help them understand how a searcher thinks and perceives so they can be more effective in all their efforts.
I'm successful in this work because I get all of them (practitioners and patients). I am holistic in my approach in a way most agencies are not equipped. And I really care. This is a mission field for me. I am called to heal, but in prayer and in connecting people to healers.
